The Youth and Discipleship Department is integral in the life of the church here at Portmore NTCOG. The department includes the children, teenagers and young adults in the Youth Arm and oversees the Sunday school ministry on the Discipleship arm. The Youth and Discipleship board reports to the Pastors. Information from the National Youth and Discipleship department is channelled to the local department through our Distrct Youth and Discipleship director. The local department has adopted the Mission Vision statement and the Core Commitments of the National Department and they are as follows:
Our Vision is to advance the Kingdom of God through engagement in an exciting, creative and balanced ministry driven by purpose and by the Holy Spirit’s power as we reach, teach and send persons into life changing Christian service.
We exist to fulfill the great commission by mobilizing and equipping God’s people for Kingdom building.
